POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Training Administration and Compliance for the Global Security Services (GSS) Division is responsible for the efficient management and continuous oversight of all aspects of and pertaining to training administration, compliance, quality control/assurance and training policy, plans and procedures. The position is also responsible for support of the day-to-day training operations and ensuring compliance of all business unit programs. This is a hybrid position with travel to Upper Marlboro, MD when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and execute tasks on behalf of Senior Program leadership, such technical directions that may be issued within the terms and conditions of contracts.


  • Act as a point of contact for the Directors to coordinate and troubleshoot administrative and compliance issues.


  • Manage and oversee training records and training documentation procedures.


  • Serve and perform the role of the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Training School Director for Constellis.
  • Serve and perform the role of the DCJS Training School Compliance Agent for Global Security Services.


  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems, and devise ways to streamline processes.


  • Develop organizational depth through mentoring, performance management, professional development, and succession planning.


  • Ensure smooth and adequate flow of information within the company and throughout GSS


  • Act as the point of contact for regulating and licensing bodies and ensure operational and administrative compliance, quality control/assurance, plans, policies and procedures.
  • Manage communications with clients and jurisdictional agencies.


  • Monitor program costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.


  • Facilitate and orchestrate the fulfillment of regional training support needs such as travel arrangements, administrative factors, and compliance considerations.
  • Assist in Business Development/Capture activities as needed.


  • Participate in new contract startups and transitions.


  • Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments.


  • Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS




  • 10+ years of prior experience managing large, complex government security contracts preferred with a focus on training compliance, administration, and facilities.


  • Familiarity with industry investigative practices and the ability to get a government security clearance as needed.


  • Must possess effective communications skills, both written and oral.


  • Ability to meet the needs of the program, management, and the clients.


  • Ability to multitask and remain focused on the overall mission under stressful situations.


  • Ability to produce clear and accurate reports, procedures and policies.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
