The Business & Technical Analysis Director is an influential leader who establishes and develops broader company strategy impacting the identification, evaluation and design of technology-based business solutions and the support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications. They identify and evaluate fundamental issues to solve complex business problems, drive system optimization and mitigate potential risk.

Leadership & Supervision



  • Inspires Action, Coordinates multiple initiatives.
  • Establishes and develops broader company strategy and translates into multi-functional objectives.
  • Leads activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups and services through subordinate directors / managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of assigned areas.
  • Oversees team(s) to develop new methods and solve company-wide matters.
  • Responsible for setting and executing the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.
  • Responsible for creating and fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
  • Responsible for directing, empowering, and motivating employees to successfully accomplish strategic priorities and responsibilities.

Education



  • Required

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) or business field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in analytics, business or IT.



Skills and Experience



  • Required

    • 9+ years of experience in analytics, business or IT
    • 5+ years of experience managing direct reports

  • Preferred

    • Experience in IT-related analytics
    • Tool Administration and Optimization: Administer, configure, and maintain Planview and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, and related plugins), including custom workflows, automations, dashboards, reporting, and performance monitoring to align with organizational needs and best practices.
    • User Support and Stakeholder Enablement: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, deliver training and playbooks, provide user support and issue resolution, and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure effective and scalable tool usage.
    • Leadership and Strategic Alignment: Lead and mentor tool administrators, apply Agile and IT service management principles, and drive continuous improvement by aligning tool capabilities with business goals, while balancing daily operations with strategic project initiatives.
