Description
Overall Responsibility: The AI Strategist is responsible for leading enterprise-wide business process improvement through the strategic implementation of artificial intelligence and automation. This role provides thought leadership and cross-functional support to key departments-Finance, Accounting, Legal, Marketing, IT, and HR and all Business Units-by identifying, designing, and deploying AI workflows that enhance efficiency, reduce manual overhead, and enable data-driven decision-making. The AI Strategist works collaboratively across functions to promote AI adoption and continuously evolve the organization's digital maturity. Essential Functions: Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute an AI and automation strategy aligned with organizational priorities by Extract, Transform, Load principles.
- Partner with executive and departmental leaders to identify high-value AI use cases. CEO and COO will be executive sponsors to this initiative.
- Drive innovation and lead a roadmap for AI capability development across the business and in conjunction with the office of transformation
Functional Support & Process Optimization:
- Conduct workflow assessments and recommend AI-driven improvements in:
- Finance & Accounting: automate reporting, reconciliation, audit prep, and forecasting. Working with Committee and CFO
- Legal: streamline document review, compliance tracking, and legal research. Working with
- Marketing: improve customer targeting, analytics, digital marketing and generative content production. Working with CMO
- IT: enhance IT support, system monitoring, and cybersecurity processes. Incorporating Network architecture of each system.
- Human Resources: automate hiring workflows, onboarding, and employee engagement tracking. Working with new CHRO or CPO
- Business Units: Planning and Design, Constructions Services, Facilities mgmt., enterprise Solutions will be address in further phases
- Redesign business processes to embed intelligent automation and scalable solutions. Documentation on top 5 changes per unit.
Solution Development & Deployment:
- Lead the design and implementation of AI tools using technologies such as LLMs, RPA, NLP, and predictive analytics. Work Further with AWS, MICROSOFT and NVDIA
- Coordinate with IT, data teams, and vendors to integrate AI solutions with core enterprise systems. Work with India Development team as needed.
Governance and Change Management:
- Promote responsible AI use, aligning with data privacy, compliance, and ethical standards.
- Develop and lead adoption initiatives including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Performance Monitoring & Impact Assessment:
- Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate effectiveness, ROI, and adoption of AI initiatives.
- Refine strategies and tools based on performance outcomes and user feedback.
Team Enablement and Culture:
- Foster a data- and innovation-driven culture across departments. Align principles with PPP Roadmap and initiatives.
- Serve as an internal consultant and AI evangelist, enabling teams to experiment with and scale AI capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with department heads, project teams, and executive sponsors to ensure alignment and business impact.
- Represent AI strategy in strategic planning sessions and leadership forums.
Innovation:
- Engage with Industry to stay ahead on new platform and solutions to better business processes.
- Create strategic innovation roadmap with CEO, IT, and COO.
Qualifications
Needed Skills:
- Deep understanding of AI technologies and business transformation strategies. Deep understanding of the business workflows
- Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, and IT.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Working with others in a fashion of collaboration
- Familiarity with enterprise software and platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, RPA tools, LLM APIs).
- Experience translating business problems into technology solutions.
- Possesses appropriate paperwork to demonstrate legal right to work in United States as a full-time, regular employee.
- Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
Education/Experience Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 1-5 years of experience in AI strategy, business process improvement, or digital transformation roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise AI initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Experience with tools such as, UiPath, Power Automate, Python, or OpenAI/LLM APIs preferred.
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision, Newforma, Paycom, Microsoft Office Suite, and Vena is required to achieve success in this role.
