DCS Corporation is looking for a talented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Vehicle Integration Team to physically build/integrate/machine custom LRU's, hardware and various other Electrical/Mechanical assemblies on medium and large Military Ground Vehicles. The ideal candidate must be a self-driven, self-starter, who is reliable and willing to work closely with an interdisciplinary team of Managers, Engineers and Technicians. Essential Job Functions: Drilling, grinding and modifying mechanical assemblies and vehicle panels. Install electrical cabling and equipment into Ground Vehicles. Modify/repair electrical/mechanical issues in base vehicle platforms as needed, including hydraulic lines and coolant lines. Fabricate/modify bracketry and boxes for custom installs. Produce accurate work and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Maintains tools and equipment. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. HS diploma with 7 years of experience. Drilling, grinding and modifying mechanical assemblies. Knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics. Ability to read electrical schematics and strong experience with one-wire diagrams Excellent problem-solving skills. Less than 10% travel is anticipated. Desired Skills: Experience welding Experience running machines such as an End Mill or Lathe Experience working with High Voltage Systems, especially on military ground vehicles Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems on Ground Vehicles such as MRAP, Stryker, Bradley, JLTV, HMMWV and/or FMTV CDL |
