Hours:Requirements:
2 shifts per week (Monday- Friday)
Epic Experience
Willing to vaccinate pediatrics - 6 months and older
Must be willing to travel to any of our clinic locations or campus locations within the school districts
Community influenza/COVID vaccine clinics:
Monday through Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Saturday October 4th - 8am - Noon
Varied locations throughout our Occupational health clinics (Mukwonago, New Berlin, Brookfield, Waukesha -Sunset, Sussex, Oconomowoc, WMH, OMH).
Onsite flu clinics at various companies throughout Waukesha County
HRA programs (Health risk assessment with school districts):
Tuesday through Friday 5 AM to 10/10:30 AM
Saturday November 1 and November 15 - 5 AM to Noon - Must be able to commit to the Saturdays
School District of Waukesha & Pewaukee School District - various campus locations within the school districts
RN duties include Height, Weight, Manual blood pressure, flu shot, Epic charting
Fast paced- Rotate patients every 15 minutes
Saturdays we see up to 250 people through the clinic

FTE: 0.01


What You Will Do:

This position is temporary in nature and not benefit eligible. It requires you to commit to the entire length of the program September 14- December 2020 in addition to 1 orientation day. Dates to be discussed in the interview.


This position will support the Community Flu Program at various ProHealthclinics and offsite community locations.



Responsibilities:



  • Perform the duties of an RN in accordance with the Nursing Code of Ethics, The Nurse Practice Act of the State of Wisconsin and PHMG Nursing policies.
  • Safely administer vaccines to patients 6 months through adult.
  • Provides education to patients on vaccine indications and side effects.
  • Completes all documentation accurately, timely and efficiently.



Pay Rate: $35.00/hour


Hours Per Week:20 (minimum required commitment)



Qualifications:



  • Associate Degree in Nursing required. Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current State of WI RN License.
  • Current BLS (CPR) Certification.
  • Experience giving IM injections to ages 6 months through adult.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work the required shifts and locations of the program.
