ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Supply Chain Program Director to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across our supply chain. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence through plant network optimization, supply chain consolidation, and product transfer programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in managing multi-site manufacturing networks, leading large-scale transformation initiatives, and ensuring seamless product transitions across geographies.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

Plant Network Strategy & Optimization



  • Lead strategic planning and execution of global plant network initiatives, including site rationalization, capacity planning, and footprint optimization.
  • Evaluate manufacturing capabilities across sites to align with long-term business goals, cost targets, and regulatory requirements.


Supply Chain Consolidation



  • Drive consolidation of fragmented supply chain operations into a streamlined, integrated model.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to centralize procurement, logistics, and planning functions where appropriate.
  • Identify and execute synergies across business units to reduce cost, improve service levels, and enhance scalability.


Product Transfer & Lifecycle Management



  • Oversee end-to-end product transfer programs, including new product introductions (NPI), line extensions, and legacy product relocations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and validation requirements during transfers.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications to ensure on-time, in-scope, and on-budget execution.


Additional Key Responsibilities:



  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Lead or support the implementation and continuous improvement of IBP/S&OP processes to align supply, demand, and financial planning.
  • Risk Management: Develop and execute supply chain risk mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing, inventory optimization, and business continuity planning.
  • Digital Transformation: Champion the adoption of digital tools and analytics to improve visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making across the supply chain.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with procurement to assess, develop, and manage strategic supplier partnerships, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives related to supply chain transformation, ensuring alignment, communication, and training across impacted teams.
  • Sustainability & ESG: Support corporate sustainability goals by driving initiatives related to responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and carbon footprint minimization.



WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing within the Med Tech, Pharma, or Life Sciences industry.
  • Proven track record of leading plant network strategy and execution across multiple global sites.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex product transfers and supply chain consolidations.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in a highly regulated environment (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred:



  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence training.


The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

Salary
$160,000 $256,000 USD
