Packaging Technician

We are currently hiring aPackaging TechinMilton, DE.

Join the fun on the Packaging Line! Keep the party going by efficiently coordinating equipment and materials to ensure smooth operations. Bottle up the good times as you prepare bottles and package beer for shipping with flair. Perform and monitor cleaning and sanitation efforts to keep the Packaging Line ready to rock, while maintaining the sanitation of all packaging and peripheral areas, ensuring everything is spotless and ready for action.

What You'll Brew:

• Operate high speed packaging equipment such as fillers, packers, and palletizers
• Perform and monitor cleaning and sanitation efforts on the lines
• Perform quality checks and testing to ensure they meet specification
• Operate forklifts and handle packaging materials
• Work rotating shifts in a dynamic, team driven environment

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of machine operation experience in a production environment required

• Mechanical and/or electrical skills/experience required

• All production roles are required to pass a pre-employment physical exam to comply with their specific role requirement(s)

• Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly

• Regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal and grated surfaces

• Responsibilities may require crouching, stepping over, crawling under, bending, twisting, climbing and reaching above head and shoulders repeatedly throughout the day

• Responsibilities may require climbing flights of stairs, working from heights or on elevated platforms

• Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection and hard hat)

• Established dexterity so you can handle materials, operate equipment, and interface with computer systems with precision

• Some roles (e.g., forklift operator) may be required to sit for a prolonged period of time and have strong peripheral vision and depth perception

Preferred Qualifications:

Bottling line/high-speed filling operation experience preferred

Level: 9

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe pay rate for this role if hired is $20.60-$23.60 per hour.
