GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Supervises the development and implementation of activities in Electrical production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
- Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
- Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
- Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
- Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
- May lead a collaborative effort among members of a project team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Required Experience:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties, including computer skills.
- Ability to Read Electrical Schematics
- Knowledge and Experience with installation of large wire connectors, different-sized multi-pin connectors, cable assemblies, ESD material handling, and installation of fiber optic cables
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
- Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
- Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 9 years of equivalent work experience to include previous supervisor experience, or
- 4-year college/university education with minimum of 5 years related experience or;
- iMasteris degree with minimum of 3 years related experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Office and/or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones, use tools/equipment).
