This position is responsible for the overall commercial success of Henry Schein One's clinical & AI solutions within the United States additionally driving the globalization of the Clinical and AI solution across the international division. This segment includes, but is not limited to Dentrix Imaging, Ascend Imaging, charting and clinical tools with the practice management system, Smart Image, Detect AI and Videa AI, eRx, and Voice Perio and other AI products we bring to market. This role will also be a key liaison with critical clinical partners such as Real Cloud Imaging, Videa Health, and more. Commercial success is contingent on the consistent growth of the solutions and overall customer satisfaction. This role will have category leadership responsibility, P&L ownership (collaborating with the PMS GMs and International GMs), decision-making authority, strategy ownership, execution accountability, business and execution planning responsibility, potential management responsibilities, product creation and growth accountability, go-to-market strategy responsibilities, and operations accountability for the overall segment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership across the segment and products defined above

  • Responsible for overall commercial success in a direct and matrix organization

  • Collaborate with customers, industry organizations, executive management and other TSMs to progress solutions that solve our Clinical needs. Drive a customer-focused business

  • Collaborate with customers, industry organizations, executive management and other TSMs to expand our AI solution in each of our markets

  • Coordinates the efforts of all HS1 project staff to effectively deliver on contract commitments, comply with contract/government regulations, and expand the business

  • Lead the overall Clinical & AI segment in a matrix organization and is responsible for direct management over operations, and indirect management of product, development, marketing, sales and customer service in coordination with the direct manager & overall PMS category owner (VP and GM PMS business unit (BU)). Ensure business goals are achieved (sales, fulfillment, customer service, account management, marketing, and business development)

  • Partner closely with other functional leaders and overall PMS category owner to shape the segment solutions to ensure customer acquisition, satisfaction, and retention

  • Meet with segment leadership team and PMS category owner to assess the direction of the business, develop short and long-term goals, plans, and strategies for the PMS segment, and ensure compliance with the stated mission - aligned with Henry Schein One strategic vision and priorities

  • Work closely with the finance team and PMS category owner to analyze performance against budgets and financial reports regularly, as well as work with finance on monthly forecast, developing plans to achieve budget, mitigate against budget risk, increase revenues and profits and achievement against budget goals

  • Own and manage full P&L and financial results for the segment. Collaborate with the overall category business owner on a three-year plan and investment allocations

  • Increase the performance of direct reports and indirect teams by assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, and appraising results while developing a climate for offering information exchange. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

  • Establish metrics for the segment to drive decisions

  • Contribute to the overall PMS category business plan development and overall planning for the business

  • Monitor customers, markets, and competitor activity as data points to provide better solutions to customers. Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

  • Own lifecycle of the businesses and products within the category.

  • Drive build, buy and partner decisions. Look for opportunities for partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions to increase market share and growth objectives

  • Accountable for marketing strategy

  • Understand and develop strategies and activities to grow the client base in a profitable manner by developing sales strategies, expanding the sale of new units and identifying ways to improve client retention

  • Look for new market opportunities within the overall dental PMS solo segment and work with HS1 product management and leadership to vet and drive new opportunities into the market

  • Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues and opportunities across all functional teams

  • Ensures compliance with corporate legal, regulatory, quality, and ethical guidelines

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERTISE:

  • 15+ years of progress professional experience

  • 7+ years of management and leadership experience

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred

  • Business & Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of business drivers, profitability levers, and financial data. Experience managing P&L and leveraging market trends for business development and growth

  • Negotiation & Relationship Management: Outstanding negotiation skills and experience managing strategic alliances, joint ventures, and outsourced relationships

  • Adaptability & Change Leadership: Highly skilled at driving and leading through change. Resilient and agile in dynamic, evolving environments

  • Technical & Industry Expertise: Mastery in multiple business and technical disciplines. Broad knowledge of industry practices, particularly in dental industry and practice workflows
