Clinical Research Supervisor NeuSrg-ZSFG Full Time 85303BR Job Summary The candidate will provide direction and operational leadership of the clinical research studies in the program under the guidance of the Nurse Svc Supv 2 at BASIC and/or PI to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and of high-quality in compliance with ICH GCP, Internal SOPs and all other applicable regulations for FDA regulated drug trials. The Clinical Research Supervisor will supervise a team of clinical research coordinators and oversee execution of assignments The team coordinates multiple open studies which involve recruitment from a Level 1 trauma center and follow-up through 6-months. The candidate should be experienced in project management, a critical thinker, and capable of problem solving and aligning the priorities with trial outcomes and timelines. A good candidate should demonstrate experience in traumatic brain injury (TBI) clinical trial development, working with sponsors/vendors/and or CROs, compliance and regulatory oversight, and planning/completing operational activities to achieve a database lock. Knowledge of TBI, experience with recruitment from a Level 1 trauma center, and familiarity in collecting and handling clinical/biospecimens/imaging/outcomes/investigational product data would be a plus. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $87,000 - $189,000 (Annual Rate). Many colleagues from other departments, other universities throughout the US, and other countries form an active group of investigators and staff with whom we collaborate. The incumbent will serve as a member of the BASIC traumatic brain injury (TBI) clinical research team with a focus on supervising both internal operations and providing subject matter expertise to external stakeholders.
