RN Clinic - Head / Neck Surgery - Torrey Pines (La Jolla)

This is a benefited, full time position working 10-hour day shifts on weekdays only, generally from 7am-5:30pm with an alternating day off. This is a partially remote position. You will train full time on site, then work 3 days on site at Scripps Clinic in Torrey Pines and 1 day remotely.

What you'll do:

• This position is about 40% clerical and 60% clinical.
• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice - patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Wound care for post-op patients, assisting with in-office procedures, rooming patients.
• Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• In-basket/message management.

Required Qualifications:

• CA RN license
• American Heart Association BLS
• ADN or Nursing Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• One year RN experience
