1543 - Cloud Engineer

Sigma Defense is seeking a Cloud Engineer to script, document, advise, and assist in building cloud Azure environment for the DoD.

• 5 - 8 years of relevant DevSecOps Engineering experience.
• Knowledgeable in executing new frameworks across multiple environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing software version control and software source code base.
• Demonstrated experience developing software using an Agile framework.
• Microsoft Azure infrastructure building required.
• Capable of working in a diverse team of professionals from different expertise.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
• Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or related field of study.

• Gitlab

• Kubernetes

Mandatory Certifications:

• Security+ or equivalent

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

• Design, develop, and improve the automation pipeline and integrated deployment processes to build Microsoft Azure environments.
• Perform technical support to the team and assist in developing security protocols.
• Utilize DevOps tools to ensure the code compiles and passes any tests.
• Assist the team with upgrades and patches of virtual environments.
• Develop and execute regression test scrips to verify system functionality.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
