Job Title: Aerospace Instructor Location: Everett, WA 98204 Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension Shift Schedule: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Pay Rate: $45/hour W2 Role & Responsibilities: Ability to apply knowledge of instructional skills (e.g. preparation, delivery, summary, assess student progress, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.) Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the content. Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods Identifies potential issues that impact performance and recommends development of improvement recommendations Able to assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors Analyze, validate, optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire, recall, and transfer employees Be able to support off-shift as necessary This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Required Skills/Experience: Experience with giving presentations and public speaking. 1+ years of experience using reporting tools. 3+ years of experience with electrical assembly and/or electronic materials. 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 3+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience teaching a technical subject matter in an adult learning environment Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) process knowledge Strong experience with Electrical systems (re: fabrication, installations, testing, troubleshooting) Experience with operating/navigating: Wireshop Homepage, BAC specifications (D6-36911), Standard Work Instructor (SWI), Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), Redars Experience with designing/developing course content and instructional materials Experience working in a fast-paced environment Experience using My Learning or other Learning Management Systems Experience organizing, prioritizing and paying attention to detail while ensuring accuracy Education / Experience: Typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
