Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on all facets of investigation, pre-trial discovery, trial, and claim resolution.
  • Interview clients and assist in preparing client discovery responses and claims for settlement.
  • Assist in preparing clients for depositions, hearings, and trial.

  • Under applicable Federal and State laws, the expected annual salary range for this position is as follows:
    • $160,000
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Strong academic credentials; completion of a clerkship or experience working for a prosecutor's office or law firm is preferred.
  • Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the State Bar.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of twenty years of experience in mass and other tort cases, government investigations, labor & employment matters, including prosecuting civil cases seeking compensation for victims of sexual and physical abuse or criminal cases against people accused of sexual and physical abuse.
  • Experience interviewing and preparing clients for depositions, hearings, and trial.
  • Experience managing large client document collection, analysis, and production and document management systems.

Preferred skills and attributes:

  • A high level of emotional intelligence, strong sense of empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently to put clients at ease in the midst of trauma is essential to success in this position.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Can quickly analyze information (without getting stuck in the weeds) and write in a persuasive, easy to follow manner.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize based on client demands and needs; keeping other team members informed.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a large team.
