PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Supervises, organizes, trains, and develops the Energy risk management department through effective staffing, providing leadership, and managing performance expectations and standards to maximize growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP Provides supervision and leadership for Energy Risk/Procurement Specialist personnel assigned to the location. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs daily ordering and processing of lubricants, DEF, refined fuels, and propane to Fast Stops, NCFS bulk plants, and all direct shipments to customers. Trains and monitors tasks and performance of Energy Risk/Procurement Specialist. Processes daily supplier and company retail price sheets, and their appropriate distribution. Processes and distributes daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly commercial bids to the appropriate parties. Communicates all necessary information between company employees, GROWMARK transportation and logistics, and common carriers. Communicates with direct ship customers to retain current business and grow new direct ship business. Coordinates and prioritizes duties that will require multitasking. Maintains accounts receivable of all direct customers. Assists with the development of procedures and controls to assure compliance with company Risk Management Policies. Understands all functions of eSupply. Entering end-user refined fuel contracts in Agvance and exporting to ESYS. Maintains the Energy Department price sheets and updates them as necessary. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts. Assists with Tank Spotter maintenance (adding item numbers, changing prices) Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts. Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience to demonstrate team-building and leadership skills, in addition to professional communication and problem-solving. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Understanding and experience with agricultural marketing-related areas, including marketing strategy, risk management, market information, conditions and trends, price strategy, branding, promotions, industry relations, policies and procedures, and compliance, along with planning, budgeting, and communications Preferably, an understanding of GROWMARK risk management, energy products, and services. Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable training, permits, and certifications. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, and have the ability to travel independently and overnight. Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position. |
