The RoleAspenTech's Digital Grid Management (DGM) organization is looking for an Associate Software Developer to contribute to the development of the Compass product within the Mobile Applications team. AspenTech's Compass is a next-generation, state-of-the-art operations mobility platform that incorporates the latest in mobile technology for field crew work automation, extending distribution operations to the field.

AspenTech's Compass is fully integrated with AspenTech's ADMS for a complete enterprise solution, providing utilities with a mobile solution that enables them to efficiently and effectively assign work to field technicians and to improve utilization and productivity. Your Impact
  • Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to design and implement best -in-class software.
  • Design and implement reliable, performant, and fault tolerant code based on requirements and/or user stories.
  • Ensure reliable code by developing unit tests and test automation tools.
  • Assist in code and design reviews.
  • Train and mentor other team members in your area of expertise.
  • Take part in agile team ceremonies such as scrum, sprint planning, and retrospective.
  • Investigate, isolate, and identify solutions to reported software malfunctions.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related technical field.
  • 0-3 years of experience with Mobile development using the Flutter (Dart) framework.

Preferred:

  • Experience with System design.
  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • 0-5% travel required.

The salary range for this role is $70,700.00 - $88,400.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
