The Role* Design, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems for electric utilities.
* Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements.
* Communicate detailed requirements to internal departments as needed.
* Work directly with customers to understand requirements and communicate project plans.
* Perform customer training and consult on power system modeling to ensure the effective use and maintenance of a customer's power system applications.
* Assist in creating project and product documentation as needed.
* Perform unit testing and tuning to ensure power system applications will meet customer and industry requirements.
* Support live customer systems using knowledge of power systems and Aspentech DGM application functionality with clear, logical thought processes.

  • Assist in capacity planning, project staffing, and team scheduling.
  • Lead onboarding and mentoring junior team members.
  • Support individual performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Help resolve team-level execution issues and coordinate resource reassignments.
  • Review contract specifications and define project requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and contribute to the development of training material.
  • Communicate detailed technical and project requirements to internal departments as needed.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements and communicate project plans and updates.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to training material development.
  • Provide support for pre-sales activities and assist resource coordination.
  • Contribute to the execution of process improvement initiatives within the team.
What You'll Need

* BS (required) or MS (preferred) degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering including completion of one or more Power Systems courses.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Superior organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.
* Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.

The salary range for this role is $109,600.00 - $137,000.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
