Position Summary:

Responsible for performing precise dimensional inspections to ensure product compliance with specifications. This role involves the timely completion of all metrology requirements, accurate measurement and data reporting, and supporting validation processes through thorough inspection and approval.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform day-to-day component testing and measurement using established operating procedures for all production lots during Outgoing QC activities.
  • Perform incoming inspection on all required raw materials and components.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Write metrology programs for individual equipment based on customer requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data to produce dimensional reports and process all relevant documentation.
  • Prepare and perform part measurements to support first article and OQ, PQ activities.
  • Perform Gage R&R and capability studies with little to no supervision.
  • Determine the most appropriate measurement method based on part tolerances and other GD&T
  • Support engineering and production departments with additional sample measurements as needed.
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of GD&T
  • Should have some knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis
  • Support the nonconforming material reporting process including verifying nonconformance descriptions, evaluating to determine root cause of the nonconformance and proposing final disposition of nonconforming product.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must Have:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Working experience with measuring systems (optical comparators, vision systems) required
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email
  • Efficient work habits and detail-oriented organizational skills
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Certifications and experiences in silicone/rubber industry are a plus.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of functional areas including but not limited to Program Management, R&D, Manufacturing and QA as required.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
  • Flexible and able to accommodate changing priorities and directions.



Salary Range: $24.00 / hour
