Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, The Sourcing Specialist will support recruiting efforts by managing the Talent Community on the Careers Site. He/she will also build candidate pipeline through online job boards, social media platforms, and professional networking sites. In addition, the Sourcing Specialist will assist the TA Operations team with projects and daily tasks. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Attraction: Utilize various sourcing methods such as online job boards, social media platforms, professional networking sites, and direct sourcing techniques to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and compatibility with job requirements.
- Talent Pipeline Building: Develop and maintain a database of prospective candidates for future job openings.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates in a competitive market.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement, monitor sourcing effectiveness, and provide regular reports on sourcing activities.
- Build strong relationships with Recruiting Team Members, hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand their recruitment requirements and provide ongoing support, especially for challenging areas.
- Support the Talent Acquisition Operations team with projects and daily activity.
Educaton and Experience
- 1-3 years of experience
- Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience with various sourcing techniques and tools, including online job boards, social media platforms, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and hiring processes.
- Strong proficiency with MS Suite (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all recruitment activities.
- Some experience in developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; reliable-exhibiting trustworthiness and dependability.
- Strong attention to detail; excellent organizational skills.
