Senior Analyst Management Services
What you will be doing: The Senior Analyst is responsible for creating and managing financial tools, conducting research, and collecting and analyzing data. The Analyst will play an active role in the problem-solving aspect of engagements, and complete project tasks within scope and budget. The ability to travel up to 100% is required. Key Responsibilities Responsibility #1- 100% * Perform analysis of medical and surgical products to identify savings opportunities. * Analysis of business and technical problems and work with a team to develop innovative solutions. * Perform in-depth research to establish nationwide benchmark spend analysis, partner with the team on development of new service offerings and produce savings strategy proposals. * Conduct research on physician preference items, medical/ surgical items, logistics, inventory management, etc.; collect and analyze hospital and supply chain operations data, analyze problems, recommend creative solutions, and complete project tasks within scope and budget. * Develop customized analytical reports to meet requests of external and internal customers. * Creates spreadsheets, presentations and other deliverables using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project as necessary for client engagement. * Uses expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, project management software (e.g., MS Project) and flowcharting software (e.g., Visio) to create client deliverables accurately, with attention to detail, and on time. * Formulate document tracking protocols and templates for end-to-end traceability of project progress * Assess client's finances and compile analytical reporting spreadsheets and data visualizations for executive presentations * Presentation of analysis to all levels of management * Operational knowledge of supply chain within hospitals and health systems (value analysis, requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, distribution/ receiving, inventory management, data management/ Data Visualization) * Conduct assessments and develop actionable cost reduction strategies and implement lasting solutions. * Work directly with clients to achieve project milestones by participating in client and internal presentations and managing client relationships. * Collaborate with leadership to identify issues and communicate effectively with engagement leaders. * Assist clients in achieving maximum savings and improve process efficiencies. * Manage day-to-day project initiatives and participate in creation of client deliverables. * Identify potential engagement sources and potential add-on opportunities. * Develop and launch Project Management framework, processes, and protocols to drive Value Analysis Team goals for health system transformation and process improvements to reduce costs across multiple high cost spend categories * Collaborate with team on creating customized business plan with product and service suppliers using Supply Chain Management best practices; involved in all areas of product research, sourcing, logistics, and distribution to meet cost reduction goals while maintaining optimal business performance * Activate Ascend contracts and input implemented savings into the portal. Contact supplier rep if there is a discrepancy * Point of contact with BluePoint software subject matter expert. Collaborating on possible opportunities based on BluePoint resources. Create presentation to bring to team and hospital VPs Required Qualifications Work Experience: Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more years
Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Preferred Qualifications Skills: * Data analytics * Microsoft excel * Project work Experience: * Access and SQL experience * Previous healthcare, supply chain or materials management experience Education: Bachelor's degree Additional Job Requirements:

Travel Requirements: Travel 81-100% within the US
Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $51,000 - $95,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
