Overview The Nexus Water Group team has an opportunity for a Field Supervisor. Oversees the workflow at our facilities. He/She will not just be someone who supervises the work of others. A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively to ensure profitability and sustain growth. This position will travel between service areas near Longwood, FL. Requires the ability to respond 24 hours a day to various situations. What You'll Do
- Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Receive complaints and resolve problems
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
- Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
- Prepare and submit performance reports
- Decide on reward and promotion based on performance
- Hire and train new employees
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
What You'll Bring Experience
- Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
- Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
- Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Education, Certification and Licenses
- Diploma/Certificate in first line management or relevant field
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in management or relevant discipline will be considered an advantage
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Ability to supervise skilled and unskilled employees effectively, including ability to mentor, evaluate and guide staff in the development of skills and ability, improve morale and maximize efficiency.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, co-workers, regulatory agencies and their personnel.
- Ability to coach employees objectively through complex, difficult and emotional issues.
- Ability to implement recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.

- Cell phone, laptop, tablet, Trimble unit, water distribution equipment and machinery including pumps, valve exerciser, pipe locator and other maintenance equipment; operate a Company-issued motor vehicle.
Work Environment
- Moderate to heavy physical demands, including lifting (75 lbs.), walking (10+ miles daily), climbing and mechanical repair.
