POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Information Management, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Configuration Management Specialist II in San Diego, CA. This positionis onboard Naval Information Warfare Command Pacific (NIWCPAC) to provide support projects as required relating to research, development, test, evaluation, and engineering to Navy, Marine Corps, and other DoD manned and unmanned air systems; avionics; surveillance systems; and air traffic control and communications systems and all related mechanical components.



  • Ability to analyze, maintain and recommend changes to the RESTORE databases and all corresponding support functions to include Sharepoint deliverable applications.
  • When directed, prioritize and schedule audits of supporting RESTORE data systems; ensures that any corrective action identified in Process and/or Database audits is carried out.
  • Create, maintain, and review technical documentation and quality assurance reports for compliance with RESTORE formatting standards.
  • Review and redline drawing packages for logistical, formatting, or clerical errors, communicating changes efficiently with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Coordinate and execute team-oriented projects in support of Project Manager, as needed.
  • Responsible for the execution of the process controls, ensuring that staff comply with process and data standards to include deliverable and data repository procedure.
  • Examine performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimates of cost of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracy for ongoing project execution efforts.
  • Support the management and transfer of Government property during system changes.
  • Responsible for creating and updating data for Monthly Status Reports (MSR) and Biweekly Status Reports (BWSR).
  • This position will require working closely with engineers and technicians of various disciplines supporting leading edge technology up to and including ongoing engineering support in a Virtual Reality (VR) and Augment Reality (AR) environment.
  • This work is currently on a long term and stable contract with the U.S. Navy.


Pay Rate:$90,000 to $110,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a technical field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in related field.
  • Four (4) years experience on a U.S. Navy C4I Contract.
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Qualified candidate must currently hold and maintain an Active SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills. Demonstrated ability to use MS365 products, specifically advanced usage of Word, PowerPoint and Excel. MS Project experience a plus.


Desired Skills:



  • Proficient with the MS Project, to include demonstrated ability to input/create project tracking efforts using Project and Excel.
  • Experience with CMPro or similar industry database applications.
  • Ability to define and create database structures as they apply to information storage and retrieval development, to support ongoing project implementation efforts.
  • Knowledgeable with DoD Configuration Management Guidance, which include tracking Engineering Change Requests, Baseline Change Requests, Technical Data Package Requirements, managing Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), Cyber Security, and Navy Modernization Program (NMP) maturity metrics.
