Join us as our new Facility Operations Manager!

The Facility Operations Manager will deliver upon internal and contracted services to provide consistently high-quality support to the site, managing Work Orders and PMs, as well as manage the execution of small frame capital projects through the design phases, construction, commissioning, turn over and closure.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Administering the day-to-day operations of contracted services for custodial, landscaping, cafeteria services, security, mail services, and non-production facility maintenance.

• Serving as the primary interface between Novonesis and facility service provider(s).

• Acting as a professional point of contact for internal employees.

• Leading the Facility Services Project Coordinator team, ensuring organizational and personal development.

• Guiding applicable parts of our Facility Services strategy deployment processes.

• Working closely across the site to ensure services are in place to maximize the synergies and competencies of our organization while maintaining strong working relationships and resolving service-related issues promptly.

• Coordinating and improving facility services in a cost-effective and sustainable manner consistent with Novonesis values.

• Conducting reviews of services; evaluating and resolving issues.

• Ensuring timely and cost-effective services including office moves, plumbing repairs, HVAC repairs, office painting, and all other facilities-related repairs, and managing minor work orders to avoid bringing in outside vendors.

• Reviewing and monitoring performance of PM list from CMMS system and daily checklists.

• Directly coordinating small investment capital projects, including planning, schedule development, budget development, procurement, installation start-up, and project turnover in accordance with the Novonesis project model and handbook.

• Establishing and leading effective cross-functional project teams.

• Coordinating the use of external engineering firms, consultants, suppliers, and contractors required for project activities and ensuring their work conforms to project requirements.

• Monitoring daily progress to ensure adherence to design, construction schedule, quality, and safety compliance.

To succeed you must hold:

• Associates degree from an accredited school (or community college or university) and three years of experience or High School diploma and minimum of seven years of related experience.

• Working knowledge of safe work practices in Maintenance and Construction activities

• Prior experience in the execution of a capital investment projects

• Working knowledge of personnel computer applications such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, SAP, etc.

• Good interpersonal and team working skills. Must apply absolute discretion in handling and processing confidential data.

• Work independently with attention to detail, taking initiative, collaboration, time management, and displaying a needed sense of urgency and flexibility.

• Effective written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to facilitate cooperation between departments to achieve desired results.

Location: Franklinton, NC (On-Site)

Expected salary range: $102,000 - $130,000
