What You Can Expect
As our Program Management Support (Energy Conservation Measures) Intern at Georgetown University you will be responsible for supporting the local Capital Projects team concentrating on the support of energy conservation measures (ECMs) and other large capital projects. Every day you will work closely with ENGIE's project management team to focus on project execution (schedule, scope, budget), quality assurance/control, developing innovative approaches to carbon reduction, and interacting with the Georgetown community to communicate ENGIE's efforts and progress. You will be reporting to the Program Manager. This internship work term will be approximately from September 8, 2025 to December 12, 2025.

In this role your key responsibilities will be:



  • Collaborate with business unit leaders and program managers to help execute infrastructure projects that improve Georgetown's energy system and reduce energy/carbon use
  • Identify Georgetown community groups that have a focus on sustainability and may be good candidates for partnership on ECM efforts; develop relationships with leaders of campus organizations and serve as a representative for ENGIE and the Georgetown Energy Partnership
  • Provide analysis on project execution to facilitate successful roll-out, generate statistical data to evaluate the effort's success, engage in planning for future initiatives based on best practices
  • Collect data, conduct research and present relevant analytical results to senior leadership with the goal of impacting project management and communication strategy
  • You will assess Georgetown community expectations and requirements and develop relevant targeted plans to meet that expectation; iterating as needed
  • Translate partnerships' message to meet marketing and communications needs as they arise



What You'll Bring



  • Must be currently enrolled as a student at Georgetown University
  • You have a minimum of 1 year completed course work in Sustainability, Business, Marketing, Communications, STEM, or similar program
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Comfortable in startup atmosphere with high degree of autonomy



Additional Details



  • Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • 10-20 hours per week, additional hours/weeks may be available based on business needs and will be discussed in advance with supervisor
  • Additional terms may be available if interest by candidate and deemed appropriate by supervisor



Compensation
Hourly Range: $22.50 to $25.50 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
