Packaging Design Co-op Opportunity
Location: Philadelphia PA and Rockford IL locations
Duration:This is a6-month co-op positionideal for a student looking to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and growing industry.

Fall Intern/Co-Op: June/July 2025-December 2025

Wage: $25/hour with $2,000 bonus offered

PCI is seeking anenergetic, responsible self-starterto join our team in afast-paced and collaborative work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a student with a strong interest inpharmaceutical and healthcare packagingto gain hands-on experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovativepackaging designs and concepts
  • Supportline trialsand assist inproject management
  • Createprototypes and samples
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on packaging solutions
  • Take on additional responsibilities based on skills and interests

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Familiarity withpaperboard, corrugated materials, plastics, and flexible films
  • Strongcreative and artistic abilitieswith practical application
  • Excellentcommunication and leadership skills
  • Ability toanalyze and evaluate ideasusing logic and critical thinking
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in afast-paced, creative environment

Ideal Candidate:

  • Pursuing a career inPackage DesignorPackaging Engineering
  • Passionate aboutcreative problem-solvinganddesign innovation
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

This position interfaces with Design CAD software platforms (ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator) and provides exposure to various package printing, prototyping and package testing technologies. Successful Interns/Co-Ops would be considered for full time employment at the completion of their schooling.

Education: Student must be currently enrolled and have completed a minimum of 2 years education in Engineering, Fine Arts or Industrial Design undergraduate program with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to students enrolled in the Packaging Engineering Curriculum.

Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 or higher applications, 3-D CAD and Graphics software knowledge desirable.

Communication skills: Express ideas clearly when speaking or writing. Understand written information and work-related materials.
