The Trade Desk is seeking a Finance Procurement Senior Analyst in our Ventura office. This role works closely with teams across Supplier Cost Accounting, Legal, Data Partnerships, Inventory and Purchasing to drive accurate tracking and reporting of third-party supplier inventory and data activity. Key responsibilities include managing complex supplier contracts, verifying usage and data activity, and reconciling reported data to support month-end supplier cost estimates.

Reporting to the Manager, Finance Business Operations, the Senior Analyst will also be a key contact for reviewing and setting up new supplier contracts in the system, ensuring efficient and accurate downstream transactional processing. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the procure-to-pay process and operational workflows, can manage multiple priorities, and thrives in a fluid, fast-paced environment. This person will have an operational mindset and enjoys diving into details to solve challenging business problems.

What you'll do:

  • Independently compile, validate, and reconcile supplier inventory and data activity each month, resolving discrepancies with suppliers and internal records.
  • Distribute monthly usage reports to suppliers.
  • Create and manage purchase orders aligned with monthly supplier usage.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in supplier invoices or credits.
  • Help operationalize the procure-to-pay process in line with updates and changes to the Company's platforms.
  • Maintain clear documentation and reporting on supplier costs to ensure compliance with Company policies and support accurate financial records.
  • Review and provide recommendations on new supplier contracts, assessing operational impacts.
  • Manage onboarding of new inventory and data suppliers in Coupa and support on-going supplier management.
  • Serve as a finance liaison, helping to resolve ambiguities in contractual terms related to billing, TTD reporting requirements, and other operational issues while working directly with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements to create operational efficiencies in supplier procurement management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, managing day-to-day communications.
  • Participate in or lead projects and other ad-hoc initiatives as needed.
  • Perform and oversee monthly SOX controls related to the supplier cost procurement process.
  • Support external auditors by providing support and assisting with supplier-related inquiries during interim and annual audits.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business operation, finance, or a related role; experience in media, advertising, or technology is preferred.
  • Public company experience is highly preferred.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong quantitative skills, financial aptitude, and business acumen.
  • Excels working in either independent or team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
