Your Opportunity as the Lead, Security Operations

The Corporate Security Operations Leader is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive training program in line with Corporate Security standards, managing security site assessments, and assisting with the management of the executive protection program.

Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)

Work Arrangements: Hybrid (in at least twice a week)

In this role you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that aligns with Corporate Security standards

  • Manage and maintain training records for all Corporate Security members

  • Evaluate and expand training programs to reach broader audiences within the company

  • Conduct security site assessments at various JMS locations

  • Collaborate closely with the Corporate Security manager on investigations

  • Serve as program administrator for physical security technologies (camera and access control)

  • Manage the overall executive protection program in conjunction with the Corporate Security Manager

  • Attend all special meetings and events to provide protection to company leadership. Conducting security advances when necessary

  • Other tasks as required

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in security management or related field

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience leading trainings

  • Proficiency in managing security technologies and systems

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to travel as required for site assessments and executive protection assignments

  • Clean driving record over the past 5 years (no moving violations or accidents at fault)

  • Must be able to obtain a Concealed Carry Weapons permit

  • Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

  • Prior law enforcement, fire, EMS, or Military experience

  • Bachelor's degree
