What you'll do:

The Compliance Manager oversees an organization's compliance programs, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and managing compliance risks and audits. They also develop and implement compliance policies, provide training, and collaborate with various teams to promote a culture of compliance.

This position will work closely with NA Market Sales, Funding, and Billing and Collections as well as collaborate with other departments within Tobii Dynavox LLC to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures are aligned and properly implemented.

As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies, initiatives, and procedures that align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring these updated policies are communicated effectively throughout the organization
  • Conduct risk assessments by assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities within the Company's operations and processes, identifying where compliance breaches may occur, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Regular monitoring and auditing of business operations and practices by reviewing transactions, records, and activities to identify any compliance issues or deviations from established policies
  • Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Create, modify, update and implement the company's policies.
  • Develop risk management strategies.
  • Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
  • Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies.
  • Advise the top management on business operations relating to investment, risks and any other policy development.
  • Collaborate with the human resources and legal teams to develop educational material that will be distributed throughout the organization, fostering a culture of compliance.
  • Providing training sessions and workshops to ensure team members and employees are aware of their compliance obligations and legal requirements.
  • Investigating and resolving compliance issues by leading investigations, collaborating with relevant stakeholders, and resolving compliance issues to prevent future occurrences
  • Keeping up with regulatory compliance changes by staying informed about new laws, government regulations, and best industry practices
  • Designing, implementing, and overseeing control systems within an organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent with excellent academic credentials
  • 5+ years of Healthcare Policy, Compliance or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office suite experience
  • Ability to work with interruptions
  • Keep up in a fast-paced work setting
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines
