Dematic North America is searching for a People Manager in our System Integration team. Come be a part of a team that leads with innovation and passion. You will need to take a self-starter approach and take a can-do attitude to be successful as a Manager of Systems Integration.

The Manager of Systems Integration will be responsible for a team of Systems Integration Managers and System Integration Engineers, driving the execution process of a sub-section of solution types in the North American region.

This position can be located at any one of our field offices throughout North America (Texas, Illinois, Ohio, or other), with preference in a major field office - Wauwatosa, WI, Grand Rapids, MI or Plano, Texas. We offer:

    This is What you Will Do in This Role:

    Project Execution

  • Actively guide projects as System Integration manager from project turn over to customer acceptance.
    • Responsible for design integrity across the project, ensuring that the integrated solution meets expectations for functionality, throughput, and availability as defined in the contract
    • Create and lead execution of the project acceptance test plan
    • Define and lead integration strategy during all phases of project
  • Ensure accuracy and achievement of performance KPIs for quality, and on-time delivery. Proactively clear roadblocks to KPI target attainment for project teams.
  • Foster a culture of compliance through open communication and by empowering all team members to raise potential compliance concerns through the available channels.
  • Develop repeatable processes and documentation as programs build out and mature.
  • Participate in pre-sale technical reviews with Sales & Solution Development. Review for technical and costing accuracy.
  • Financial

  • Owner of short-term monthly forecast across assigned projects independent of resource reporting.
  • Participate in department financial planning and tracking
  • Take necessary actions to ensure staffing levels and talent support current and forecasted workload.
  • People Leadership

  • Lead team members by example and by living KION's shared Group Values and Leadership Principles.
  • Assess and assign workload.
  • Identify and implement necessary training to address gaps in resource skills or expertise. Identify high-potential people for technical and leadership roles. Identify stretch assignment opportunities with Senior Manager.
  • Support talent development through active and consistent engagement including 1-1 meetings, real-time learning/coaching opportunities, and training programs.
  • Engage in regular communications with team members via mechanisms such as: 1-1 meetings; project team discussions; peer group meetings; and people feedback, resulting in documentation and tangible examples to support career development, promotion, any necessary Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) and the annual OCTR process.
  • What We Are Looking For:

  • Engineering Bachelor's Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Software, Industrial, etc.). Advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experienceleading teams.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Ability to solve problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively in a team-based organization and with employees of all levels and backgrounds across all functions.
  • Proficient customer-facing skills.
  • Travel as needed to project sites, customer meetings, support pre-sales activities, suppliers.
