Position Title: Complaint Investigations Tech / Warehouse associate

Work Location: Alameda, CA 94502

Assignment Duration: 6 months

Position Summary: Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

Background & Context:

• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine testing (physical, chemical or functional) on product returned from the field due to a customer complaint, using a variety of lab equipment.
• Summarize and record all test data and maintain proper documentation of all lab work.
• Process customer returns in a timely manner in accordance with ISO and FDA QS Reg.
• Support company goal for timeliness of complaint investigations and closures.
• Must have good written and oral communications skills.
• Must possess good laboratory practices, including handling of chemicals and biohazardous material.
• NO COMPLAINT HANDLING INVOLVED AT THIS TIME.
• Warehouse Job Duties: Minimum of 1 year of Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Able to use pallet jack and forklift to move pallets in warehouse.
• Must be able to complete forklift certification, training will be provided.
• Able to unpack boxes and carry contents to designated storage area. May be up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain warehouse inventory using Excel, or Database.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with standard operating procedures (SOP's), rules, and regulations.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Entering data into reports used for monitoring and updating warehouse activity as needed via Excel and/or Word.
• May also be trained on Complaint Investigations, if needed by the business.

• Qualification & Experience:
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Must have good written and oral communications skills.
