Job Description

  • Develop and analyze data regarding gift/endowed funds criteria, financial status, and usage. Prepare reports for Advancement and donors to keep them well-informed about the use and impact of their gifts.
  • Collaborate with the Trulaske Fiscal & HR Office, Trulaske Advancement, and MU Central Advancement to ensure donor funds are spent appropriately and in accordance with gift agreement while providing guidance to faculty and staff to maximize available opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain information-tracking process regarding acknowledgment, recognition, ongoing communication, and continued cultivation for past and current donors.
  • Strategize with internal departments to provide opportunities to use gift funds based on donor restrictions and to meet strategic goals.
  • Initiate award committee meetings, develop reports for review, ensure awards are made in time to support MU Financial Aid recruitment package goals, and report final decisions to the MU Financial Aid Office.
  • Provide support for college events regarding donor relations (e.g., Davenport, Honors Luncheon).
  • Collaborate with the Office of Advancement and the Associate Dean of Academic Programs to determine programmatic needs in support of strategic development opportunities.
  • Work directly with various advisory boards across the college to assess needs and opportunities, and provide input and recommendations, as needed.
  • Ensure all College scholarships are made available to students via Scholarship Universe and College-wide marketing.
  • Publish the Trulaske by the Numbers report each fall and spring semester.
  • Manager special projects to support the College's strategic initiatives.
Shift

40 hours a week, 8AM - 5PM, which can be flexed within reason

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of work experience preferably in higher education and experience with advising students

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $52,915.20 - $65,000.00 a year

Grade: GGS-010
