Job Summary

The Supervisor, PACE Transportation works under the general supervision of the Manager, PACE Operations and is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the transportation services for participants.

Essential Functions

  • Supervises daily activities of the PACE Drivers and transportation staff in accordance with established schedules.

  • Plans and coordinates all scheduling activities related to transportation for SeniorCare PACE participants.

  • Responsible for coordination of all outside service providers of transportation.

  • Reviews and verifies all bills for services provided by outside contractors.

  • Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.

  • Ensures all necessary program records are maintained according to policy.

  • Responsible for performance reviews, evaluations, payroll, and related human resources duties for direct reports.

  • Attends staff meetings and takes part in participant care planning. Communicates any changes in participant condition to team members.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a supervisor job which may have direct supervision of team members which may include hire/termination authority, disciplinary authority, and performance management responsibilities.May have budget input or responsibilities. Job is not considered a member of management staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned

  • Experience - Two (2) years of supervisory experience. One (1) year experience working with the frail or elderly and one year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

  • A valid driver's license; an acceptable motor vehicle record, as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart; and proof of auto insurance.

  • Heartsaver certification.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)

  • Proficient computer skills (word processing)

  • Data entry skills
