About the Team:

The Business Value Consulting (BVC) team at Semrush plays a critical role in connecting customer outcomes to the true financial and strategic impact of our solutions. As we expand our enterprise footprint, we are scaling a global, repeatable value consulting practice that positions Semrush as a strategic growth partner for some of the world's most recognized brands.

About the Role:

As a Business Value Consultant, you will sit at the center of our most complex, high-impact customer engagements. You'll work side-by-side with Sales and cross-functional teams to uncover customer challenges, quantify the financial and operational value of Semrush, and craft compelling business cases that resonate with C-level decision-makers. Beyond individual opportunities, you will also help shape how Semrush communicates customer value at scale, building the tools, models, and frameworks that drive consistency across global sales teams. This role combines strategic consulting, financial analysis, and executive storytelling to accelerate both customer success and Semrush growth.

As a Business Value Consultant, you will:

  • Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, business challenges, and success metrics.

  • Develop tailored business value assessments that demonstrate the financial, operational, and strategic benefits of Semrush solutions.

  • Build and deliver high-impact executive presentations that align Semrush's capabilities to customer business transformation initiatives.

  • Guide Sales teams with strategic insights on customer value drivers, market trends, and best practices for executive alignment.

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams to develop scalable tools, calculators, and frameworks that support global value-based selling.

  • Support the delivery of training and workshops to internal teams, helping embed value selling into the Semrush go-to-market strategy.

  • Contribute to refining and maturing the BVC practice, surfacing insights, formalizing best practices, and enabling consistent execution globally.

    What we're looking for
    • 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in business value consulting, management consulting, solution services, or similar roles.

    • Proven quantitative skills with proven experience in financial modeling, ROI development, and/or building business case frameworks.

    • Data-driven with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling customer-facing narratives.

    • Strong business and technical acumen with the ability to lead discussions on digital transformation and market trends.

    • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Self-starter with a bias for action, takes ownership, solves problems, and drives initiatives forward independently.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA or other advanced degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or related field.

    • Experienced with SEO and digital marketing tools, particularly Semrush is a plus.

    • Experience building or scaling a value consulting, value engineering, or strategic advisory function within a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology company.
