About the Course: This is a three-month, non-renewable appointment that carries 1.5 Instructional Workload Credits (IWC). In-person teaching will be held at both the Sacramento and Davis campuses. Course Details Topics include data presentation, probability distributions (binomial, Poisson, normal, t, F, Chi-square), hypothesis testing, nonparametric methods, linear regression, and correlation. The course includes hands-on training in statistical software, particularly SAS. About the Department The Department of Public Health Sciences is housed within the UC Davis School of Medicine. Our mission is to improve population health through research, education, public service, clinical care, and policy development. We integrate disciplines such as epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics, and behavioral sciences. We offer a range of academic programs, including the MPH, MS in Health Informatics, a PhD in Public Health Sciences, and an undergraduate minor in Public Health.
