Responsibilities

Manage assigned staff to meet and exceed department goals. Manage the Indirect Department's operational and marketing functions. Responsibilities to include piloting new programs, reviewing and processing applications, review and input dealer agreements; System Admin back-up for Indirect loan origination system and multiple other programs and interfaces, maintain/upgrade computer software systems/programs utilized within the department; Training department personnel in bank policy, computer software, Indirect products, programs and procedures. Organize Department functions and scheduling.

Essential Duties:

  • Indirect Department Operational Functions
    • Communicate with Sr. Management for department goals/budgeting/business growth
    • Provide Indirect support to Retail Loan Director
    • Act as intermediary to staff, Business Development Officers and dealerships
    • Handle marketing programs, system rates changes, order seasonal promotional items
    • Responsible for dealership communications, including product & program enhancements
    • Develop plans to increase the process of Indirect productions volumes
    • Assist in maintaining or initiate re-negotiating vendor contracts
    • Handle complaints/issues on retail loan products and Out of Country requests
    • Responsible for compliance with policies, DecisionLender and HR requirements
    • Assist/respond to departmental audits
    • Responsible to create, test and review annual Indirect Disaster Recovery Plan B
    • Produce and distribute reports for Audit, Commercial, Sr. Management & others as req.
    • Maintain/assist in projects, pilot programs and special spot programs
    • Oversee Reserve statement processing/negative receive collecting and quarterly write offs
    • Training: create new procedures and coordinate staff meetings and trainings
  • Manage Indirect Supervisors, Indirect BSA & Indirect Admin Assistant
    • Assist in interviewing for postings, release staff as needed, initiate staff for salary adjustments
    • Prepare annual reviews
  • System Administrator/responsibilities
    • DecisionLender loan origination system
    • On call to address system issues during extended hours, Saturdays and staffed Holidays
    • Route One, Dealer Track, Lexis Nexis, CCMC NAS, etc.
    • Workforce Management: Approve staff time cards and maintain department's PTO schedules
    • Approve temp time cards from outside agencies
    • Business Online-internal department functions
    • Test, coordinate installations, create procedures and train staff on system upgrades and interfaces
    • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner

Qualifications

Education, Training and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with relevant work experience required
  • An Associate's degree is preferred
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Experience:

  • Minimum of (4) years experience; with at least 2 years in lending and/or loan operations required and minimum 2 years of management experience strongly preferred. Loan Origination System(s) knowledge is preferred.

Other Job Information

Hours: 40 plus hours week/must be able to work flexibl hours which could include Saturdays, evenings and some holidays

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
