Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Service Coordinator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will effectively oversee customer service calls ensuring Convergint remains our customers' first choice for service. As a Service Coordinator, you will be a part of a dynamic service team in a customer service role that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"



  • Convergint's greatest strength is our people! Every colleague is encouraged to participate in our Recruit Awesome People program, helping us grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.
  • Handles incoming customer calls/emails including service dispatching, tracking and scheduling. Including work order status tracking and schedule changes, requesting new sites and modification to existing sites and handling all general inquiries as required. May provide support and backup for other areas of the business.
  • Generate Work orders and be proficient in box sale, material ordering.
  • Work order close out, posting accurate material and labor cost. Ensuring all notes, labor and material are clear and ready for customer invoicing.
  • Monitors and follows up on subcontractor pricing; processes and approves invoicing.
  • Maintain communication with customer on all assigned work orders and follow up on scheduling and post service work completion.
  • Daily Vendor/Subcontractor invoice tracking/approval.
  • Escalate to supervisor of missing notes, late arrivals and/or missing time stamping.
  • With assistance and approval, provide accurate scope of work quotes to customers.
  • Provides Service Quotes to customers with the assistance of the Service Supervisor.
  • Ensure booked specialist is informed of the required licensing, badging, training, PPE, tools for the service work orders assigned.
  • Provides Specialists with badging and access to customer sites. Ensures that the Specialists have completed all customer specific training. Maintains a log for badging access and training.
  • Communication daily to specialists of the upcoming service work. Including, material pick up, special check in requirements and if they are meeting someone on site.
  • Acts as our customer's best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer's first choice for service.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.



What You'll Need



  • Highly Organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • 1-3 years call center, dispatch, or administrative
  • Experience in a construction industry environment
