As an Engineering Project Administrator for our Engineering group in West Mifflin, you will be an integral member of the team assisting in the administration and coordination of all activities. Your work will include supporting the team and executing administrative tasks with competent, dynamic and friendly skills. Your role will be wide-ranging and willrequire strong administrative IT organizational, and communication skills. Some of your key responsibilities will include:



  • Acting as the point of contact for the Engineering management teams
  • Provide andministrative support to other functions including HR, Project Management and Manufacturing, with the priority being Engineering
  • Coordinating meetings and appointments and providing reminders
  • Producing reports, presentations, and briefs
  • Partnering with our travel agency for all business travel including booking domestic and international travels,management of processes and expense claims
  • Creating Purchase Orders, and managing invoices
  • Supporting logistics organization for visitors, meetings, workshops, or special events
  • Maintaining the time-keeping, vacation, payroll function for the team
  • Maintaining records related to operations management
  • Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data/Creating and distributing documents


To be successful, you will need to have



  • Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures as well as excellent problem solving, critical thinking and exceptional communication skills.


Required Qualifications



  • 3 or more years of related administrative professional work
  • At least 1 year of proven proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of Engineering, Operations, or Facilities Management
  • Proactive and efficient responses to pressing issues and challenges
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Discretion and Confidentiality
  • Knowledge of communication tools (Teams, SharePoint)
  • Strong interpersonal skills


Education:



  • Associates Degree in a related field is required
  • Equivalent Combination of education and experience may be considered
