Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization This position is responsible for shaping and steering the financial strategy for NAM and LAM Golf through effective planning, forecasting, and analysis. It requires an analytical leader who not only develops key performance indicators (KPIs) but also drives ad hoc, short- and long-term planning to ensure all financial decisions align with both immediate and strategic goals. The role provides senior leadership with top-notch, highly accurate information and insights, and plays a leading role in preparing presentations for Senior Management. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the planning and execution of financial plans, the annual budget/target process, and strategic planning.
- Consolidate financial planning across all operational groups and manage a reliable, aligned monthly forecasting process for the full NAM/LAM Golf business.
- Establish and monitor key KPIs to guide short-term initiatives and long-term business planning, supporting proactive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Analysis, Reporting & Strategic Insights
- Evaluate business risks, opportunities, and pending decisions to determine their financial impact, including conducting postmortem scenario analyses.
- Provide both financial and non-financial managers with best-in-class, highly accurate information and analysis to support sound business decisions.
- Build financial models to evaluate new business opportunities and assess current performance to drive improvements in sales and profitability.
- Monitor balance sheet items such as accruals, prepaids, inventory, accounts receivable, and reserves, in coordination with the NAM accounting team.
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvements
- Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports to foster engagement and high performance.
- Create development plans, training initiatives, and succession strategies for yourself and your team.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve business process improvements, ensuring alignment and standardization across all Golf regions.
- Partner with global and local market contacts to implement new processes and share best practices.
- Collaborate with the NAM Internal Controls team to ensure Golf processes are fully aligned with local procedures and global policies, with all exceptions documented.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 8-10 years of broad-based operational finance experience with increasing responsibility
- Minimum of 3-5 years successfully leading, managing, and developing a team
- Industry-specific experience preferred
- Solid accounting knowledge and practical experience
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Familiarity with SAP and other adidas or industry finance systems/analytics tools is a strong plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English

Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role. We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The working location of this position is Carlsbad, California. Though our teammates hail from all corners of the world, our working language is English.
