Job Summary

As a Systems Configuration Analyst, Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within our Customer Solutions Department, contributing directly to the success of enterprise software implementations and system enhancements. In this dynamic and impactful role, you'll be responsible for designing and configuring scalable, high-performing enterprise applications that meet evolving business needs.

You will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and end users to gather requirements, propose effective solutions, and implement configuration changes that optimize system functionality and business workflows. Acting as both a Solution Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams-ensuring that our technology solutions align with strategic goals and deliver real business value.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Product and/or Technical Services development teams to design scalable, efficient solutions within the application's configuration framework.

  • Design and continuously evolve the product model to support business requirements, industry standards, and long-term system scalability.

  • Identify and recommend enhancements to improve user experience, streamline workflows, and expand application capabilities.

  • Configure and customize application modules based on detailed design specifications and evolving business needs.

  • Maintain comprehensive configuration documentation, manuals, and system notes to ensure consistency, traceability, and replicability.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of application modules, workflow processes, integration points, and applicable compliance requirements.

  • Support system deployments, including configuration migration, production rollout, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, and key business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Champion innovation by recommending modern configuration approaches that align with industry standards and enhance the product model.
  • Prioritize, manage, and schedule configuration tasks across multiple project phases, balancing competing demands effectively.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising stakeholders on system capabilities and limitations to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of system applications by aligning configuration efforts with evolving business needs.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams and stakeholders to foster collaboration and influence decisions effectively.

  • Provide accurate estimates for configuration deliverables to support project planning and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with fellow Systems Configuration Analysts to ensure timely and quality completion of configuration responsibilities.

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex configuration-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Mentor junior analysts by providing technical guidance, support, and best practices for system configuration.
  • Assist with proposal development and documentation related to software configuration for new and existing clients.

  • Understand, comply with, and uphold all corporate policies, including those related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

  • Minimum of 9-10 years of experience in systems analysis, solution architecture, and enterprise software configuration, with a proven track record of supporting scalable and efficient technology solutions.

  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working through all project phases.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in all aspects of systems analysis, including modeling, process mapping, and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience working with workflow engines, low-code platforms, or rules engines is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad understanding of information management principles and the ability to assess and respond to diverse user needs.

  • Experience with Atrezzo or comparable systems is preferred.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business and system requirements.

  • Recognized as a technical expert in systems design, architecture, and analysis.

  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in all aspects of systems analysis, including modeling, process mapping, and documentation.

  • In-depth knowledge of application software, systems design methodologies, and systems analysis techniques.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical scenarios.
  • Proven experience working within structured project teams, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results in alignment with established project plans.

  • Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and facilitation-with the ability to present effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry with specialized expertise in Medicare and Medicaid systems, including regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.

  • Ability to self-manage work assignments with minimal supervision while balancing multiple priorities.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $117,000.00 - $147,000.00 base salary.

Based on our compensation program, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
