As a Human Services Licensing Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that community service providers and programs follow regulations and provide quality care to their clients. Your work will involve conducting inspections, preparing reports, and making recommendations for licensure approval or revocation. You will also provide valuable guidance and advice to community service providers to help them correct any areas of noncompliance and ensure they understand the regulations and licensure requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting investigations into any complaints received and attending appeal hearings to provide testimony on denied or revoked licenses. Staying up-to-date with licensing meetings and training sessions will also be important to maintain consistency in the interpretation and administration of regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This position is home headquartered position which will require you to be headquartered at your home and travel to worksites in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Venango, Warren, Washington, and Westmoreland counties to complete your work duties. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

• You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Western Region (which includes Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Venango, Warren, Washington, and Westmoreland counties) by the time of hire.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirement:

• This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
  • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
