Manager BRCO RSCA Facilitators
The Manager, BRCO RCSA Facilitators will play a critical role in driving the successful program management and execution of Comerica's RCSA Program in accordance with the newly developed RCSA Policy and assessment framework to produce consistent and high-quality results in a timely fashion. They will directly contribute to the development, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of RCSA program key performance and risk indicators.
The Manager, BRCO RCSA Facilitators will lead a centralized team of facilitators (10) to ensure consistent and appropriate coverages of businesses and program completion through workshops within the desired timeline. They will plan, schedule, and provide structure/process, guidance, and expertise to drive quality of results across the Bank.
While the majority of the RCSA Facilitators will eventually report directly into their respective Line of Business (LOB) Business Control Office (BRCO) team, this role will continue to partner with the SLOD to enhance the RCSA structure and execution across the various BRCO departments.
The Manager, BRCO RCSA Facilitators will partner with the First Line of Defense (Business Control Officers, Process & Control Owners) as well as the Second Line of Defense to drive consensus and ensure the RCSAs are completed in accordance with the Enterprise Risk Management policy and framework.
Position Responsibilities:


  • Partner and liaise with Front Line of Defense (Business Control Officer, Process & Control Owners, and AU Owner), Second Line of Defense, and other risk partners to ensure RCSA program elements adhere to are executed in accordance with RCSA policy and framework.
  • Plan and schedule the RCSA process across various business units, ensuring that risks and controls are comprehensively identified, accurately assessed, and documented in system of record and reported.
  • Provide structure, process, guidance, and expertise to the RCSA Workshop program, driving consensus, providing clarity around risk management concepts, and influencing conversations to promote framework consistency. Contribute to the development, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of governance, Assessment Unit & BRCO scorecards, program health/status dashboards to ensure appropriateness of metrics / key performance indicators for RCSA program.
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of RCSA results through regular engagement and sharing of information across the Facilitator team.
  • Assist with the management and flow of RCSA workshops to ensure assessments remain within time, budget, and scope.
  • Drive the tracking, reporting, and follow up of RCSA workshop outcomes.
  • HR and Financial Management. Responsible for selecting, motivating, and retaining high performing talent, cultivating a spirit of teamwork and continuous improvement with shared goals and objectives. Supports the development and growth of direct reports through on-going direction, coaching and performance management and manages expenses and budget associate with the team and work managed.
  • Other duties as required

Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or in lieu of a bachelor's degree a High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of Risk Management, Compliance, or Audit experience.
  • 8 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, or related field
  • 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and enhancing risk assessment process methodologies



Preferred:

  • 6 years of experience in Financial Services Industry and/or knowledge of products, services, and business processes
  • Experience working for or with (significant interactions) with regulatory agencie
  • Experience managing or leading a team

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
