GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The Clinical Research Biopsy Coordinator II (Biopsy CRC) works closely with the clinical research study teams to coordinate and process biopsy specimens for clinical research subjects. The primary role of this position is to assume the responsibility for coordination of the scheduling of tissue procurement within the various clinical trial timelines and ensure that the tissue procurement and processing is carried out per clinical trial laboratory manual specifications. Additional major responsibilities include assisting with sample management, including receipt, local transport, and packaging for shipment, and quality assurance functions PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Biopsy CRC reports directly to the Clinical Research Manager for overall job performance. For day-to-day responsibilities, they work directly with the disease-based clinical research study team. The following job duties will be performed independently:
