What is the opportunity?

We are seeking aDigital Product VP/Associateto join our growing team within RBC Capital Markets. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Product Innovation, this role offers the opportunity to support cutting-edgedigital and AI productsacross our Investment Bank. In this position, you'll partner with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders from various lines of business to build, integrate, and execute digital and AI-powered solutions that transform how our business delivers value to our clients and stakeholders. This is a highly visible opportunity to define product strategy, lead end-to-end product development, and help drive RBC's digital transformation.

What will you do?

  • Support Product Strategy:Collaborate with the Head of Digital Product Innovation to define and implement product roadmaps that address critical business needs and align with RBC's digital & AI strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with business stakeholders across global investment banking, as well as engineers and technical teams, to identify opportunities, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products.
  • Requirement Gathering & Prioritization:Work closely with stakeholders to gather product requirements, create user personas, define use cases and convert insights into actionable products, all within an agile development framework.
  • Execution:Support day-to-day product development, ensuring features and functionality are delivered on time, aligned to strategy, and meeting client and stakeholder needs.
  • AI-Powered Innovations:Collaborate to design and integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities into digital products to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and client service.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:Leverage data to monitor product performance, identify trends, and provide insights that inform ongoing development and iteration.
  • Stakeholder Communication:Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on product progress, key initiatives, and milestones.

Skills, Qualifications & Key Competencies:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Finance, Data Science).
  • Experience: Investment banking, equity research or capital markets experience is advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Interest or experience inAI/ML technologiesand their application to digital solutions. Familiarity withagile methodologies, Jira, and/or other product management tools is a plus.
  • Problem Solving: Strong aptitude forproblem solvingand a willingness to learn the nuances of digital product development in financial services.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work seamlessly across technical and business teams.
  • Organization: Attention to detailand ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Vision: Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $160,000 - $225,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
