Where You'll Make a Difference
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies aligned with global business objectives and regional market needs.
  • Serve as the regional regulatory lead for cross-functional initiatives including innovation, product development, and market expansion.
  • Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory landscapes across the Americas, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory dossiers (e.g., registrations, renewals, amendments).
  • Ensure timely and compliant product approvals and renewals across jurisdictions.
  • Lead internal audits and support external inspections by regulatory authorities.
  • Deliver regulatory technical documentation packages to customers (e.g., SDS, CoA, declarations).
  • Act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, Health Canada, ANVISA, COFEPRIS).
  • Represent IFF in regulatory forums and working groups to influence policy and advocate for science-based regulations.
What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science); advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing regulatory affairs across multiple countries in North America or the Americas.
  • Strong understanding of the food regulatory environment.
  • Experience interacting with regulatory authorities (e.g., FDA, Health Canada, ANVISA).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

  • Experience in regulatory advocacy and policy influence.
