Job Overview:

This position is responsible for providing analytics for the development of the marketing calendar and promotional events that support the brand, merchant and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong retail planning background and the ability to work/communicate cross functionally across the organization. This position requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and a self-motivated fast learning individual with ability to summarize complex findings clearly/concisely will have success in this role.

Essential Functions:



  • Assist in the development of the marketing calendar and projected sales by day and channel as well as determine optimal combination of events (placement and offers) based on new seasonal strategies and holiday shifts
  • Forecast sales by day/channel and web metrics by day/channel, maintaining daily sales file with marketing forecast for company's total daily sales by channel
  • Collaborate with finance and merchant partners on sales flow by channel
  • Discuss top line business with team daily and provide insights based on trend/event changes
  • Provide evaluations of sales and margin implications for various offer strategies, recapping promotional events by analyzing effectiveness of offers using various components to identify takeaways and recommendations for future events (partnering with cross functional teams to provide holistic view of event performance)
  • Deliver projections for offer/event changes as needed
  • Maintain marketing calendar document and publish/communicate with company


Qualifications and Competencies:



  • We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply.
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Retail background required
