MHS is seeking a part-time Visitors Center Host to support its exceptional Alumni Relations Program. This role is the primary contact for guests and tours (scheduled or otherwise) of the Dearden Alumni campus and provides administrative support to the MHS Alumni Relations office and the MHS Alumni Association. The Host works up to 29 hours per week during standard business hours and occasional evenings and weekends for special events.

Key Responsibilities



  • Communicating with outside agencies, tour companies and other organizations to schedule alumni campus tours.
  • Conducting tours.
  • Answering incoming calls.
  • Maintaining records and regularly running scheduled reports from google Analytics report writer.
  • Assisting the Alumni Office with databases, mailings, processing expenses, special events, and updating websites, displays, videos, brochures and other informational material.
  • Collaborating with and assisting other graduate related MHS departments to ensure continuity.
  • Assisting the Alumni Association with databases, correspondence, presentations, mailings, special events, processing expenses, etc.



Position Details



  • Location: On-site in Hershey, PA
  • Compensation: $17.00-23.00 (based on experience)

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; MHS alumni preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience working independently in an office setting.
  • Public Speaking: Skilled in giving tours or presentations.
  • Relationship Building: Able to foster strong, productive relationships with others, including multi-generations.
  • Accountability: Strong commitment to achieving program goals and contributing to student success.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft applications and databases. Google Suite skills a plus.
  • Integrity & Passion: High ethical standards and an eagerness to proactively engage with students.
