Job Description
ECU Department of Anthropology is currently seeking several Federal Work Study Students to serve as Office Assistants for both Fall and Spring semesters. These students will provide assistance to the faculty and staff in the Anthropology Department.

Duties Include:

  • Assisting faculty members with tasks as assigned.
  • Assisting students and staff in the office and over the phone
  • Assisting in Archaeology Lab as assigned.
  • Performing general office duties as assigned


Hours needed will be contingent on the candidate's class schedule.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
A graduate student is preferred, however, all students will be considered.

Must have excellent customer service skills, be detailed oriented, and have the willingness to work with various groups of people. Must be able to work both Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
