Position Summary

Provide telephone hotline support to students and others with health (mental and physical) issues that affect their academic and general well-being. In collaboration with other Wellness Exchange support services, provide referrals to University specialists or external health-care providers and monitor treatment plans to ensure academic and health progress. Develop and maintain community referral base. Track data and reports to support clinical outcomes and service needs. Perform active outreach and follow-up for students of concern.



Qualifications

Required Education:
Master's Degree in Social Work or related field

Required Experience:
2+ years of related supervised clinical case management experience.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with diverse adolescent or college population managing treatment and accommodations. Experience with Crisis Management and Hotline support.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with students, faculty and other support areas. Ability to problem solve make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Working knowledge database management



Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $84,000.40. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
