Job Summary

Assists in the management, planning, scheduling, evaluation and supervision of location staff and facility operations, including: instructional program and services (e.g., partnerships, noncredit and credit), testing center, computer commons, and community events.

Essential Functions

40% - Oversees the day-to-day operations of the center in collaboration with academic partners; assists in hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating assigned staff; resolves site operational issues in collaboration with other departments
30% - Schedules use of the facility for classes and events; implements procedures for registration and assessment; maintains accurate program records; prepares reports and invoices, analyzes data to inform decisions
20% - Functions as a liaison with other College departments and personnel; Communiversity education, business, government, and community partners; serves as site contact for area civic, school, and community agencies/organizations.
10% - Assists with developing workplace revenue partnerships. Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, organizational development or directly related field and two years of related experience such as providing advanced program coordination and consultation that includes one or more of the following: planning, development, and/or implementing program projects and activities in area of assignment. A Master's Degree may be required for some assignments.

OR

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

A. Two (2) or more years' of supervisory experience
B. Two (2) or more years' work experience in program planning, implementation and/or oversight
C. Demonstrated work experience preparing reports and tracking data
D. Demonstrated work experience initiating and expanding partnerships in the community
E. Excellent written communication skills (note: application materials will be used to evaluate this)

Special Working Conditions

Primary work location is Rio Salado College, Communiversity @ Queen Creek is 21802 S. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142

This is a fully in-person position: Monday - Thursday

Requires some evening and/or weekends; may require lifting up to 40 lbs; may require working at various sites and some local travel.

Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License is required; employee must meet district minimum standards regarding driving:
