This position oversees a team of Clinical Nurses, and other staff as assigned. This role supports, manages, and recommends clinical program services for SRHD substance use treatment program. As the Clinical Nurse Manager, this position ensures that services provided are consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, to include regulations, policies and procedures. As a leader, this position ensures quality of services; patient care, participates in program evaluation and ensures community assessment for future based needs. This position coordinates case finding and program consultation with other community agencies; and participates as a member of the SRHD Leadership Team. Reports directly to the Division Director regarding program matters.

This position performs duties that require discretion when preparing, disclosing, and handling information that is confidential, controversial, or sensitive in nature. This role may communicate and maintain confidential records, be privy to information and documentation that require discretion including sensitive information with respect to employer-employee relations during negotiations processes. This role only requests or provides access for relevant confidential information needed to perform this role and responsibilities. The duties include exercising judgment and discretion in accordance with the parameters set by leadership.

Some Essential Functions Include:

• Plans, organizes, and manages SRHD Clinical Nurses within the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).
• Identifies, researches, and analyzes trends within OTP medical staff, developing and modifying procedures.
• Defines and/or assists in defining goals and objectives for medical staff; includes establishing methods and means of accomplishing objectives.
• Coordinates activities with those of other related departments or agencies; negotiates and resolves significant and controversial issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Active, valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
• Five years of demonstrated experience in a related environment.
• Five years of experience in a management capacity.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion when working with confidential information, records, and documentation.

• Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing is preferred.
• Experience with drug use treatment or knowledge of the principles and techniques of treatment of co-occurring disorders or treatment of Mental Health.
• Seven years of applied experience leading a team.
